CR Series — Upstream Back Pressure Regulators
Self-operated upstream back pressure regulators for a wide variety of fluids.
The CR Series is a general-purpose, self-operated upstream pressure control valve used to control various fluids. These valves are designed to open proportionally when the inlet pressure exceeds a pre-set value, relieving excess pressure and maintaining the desired upstream pressure.
The glandless construction eliminates gland leakage, making the CR Series ideal for zero-leakage applications. Improved sensitivity and repeatability ensure precise, reliable fluid pressure control.
Key Features
- Easy Maintenance — Compact design with minimal moving parts — internals replaceable without pipeline removal.
- Glandless Construction — Eliminates gland leakage entirely; ideal for zero-leakage applications.
- Tight Shut-Off Capability — Special trim prevents wear and erosion for excellent shut-off over long working life.
- Smooth Throttling Action — Precise throttling minimizes pressure surges and allows gradual pressure relief.
- Low Pressure Buildup — Achieves required flow with minimal pressure increase downstream of the valve.
- Better Reset Capability — Proportional opening ensures easy reset compared to conventional relief valves.
