B4 Series
Pilot operated tank blanketing valve maintaining positive inert gas pressure in storage tanks to prevent contamination and vapour losses.
The B4 Series are pilot operated tank blanketing (padding) valves designed to maintain a positive inert gas pressure in fixed roof storage tanks. They supply nitrogen or other inert gas to the tank vapour space when the pressure falls below the set point, preventing air ingress and product contamination. Suitable for solvent, chemical, pharmaceutical, and petroleum product storage tanks.
Key Features
- Pilot Operated Accuracy — High sensitivity ensures precise pressure control at very low set pressures.
- Glandless Construction — Zero gland leakage for improved sensitivity and reliability.
- Low Pressure Setting — Can control blanketing pressure as low as 5 mmWcg.
- Tight Shut-Off — Provides positive shut-off preventing inert gas wastage when tank pressure is above set point.
- Wide Range — Available in multiple body sizes for tanks from small to large capacity.
Applications
- Fixed roof storage tanks
- Solvent storage
- Chemical product storage
- Pharmaceutical product storage
- Petroleum product storage
