The ERV-L series valves are generally used to provide extra layer of protection to storage tanks, containers, and process engineering equipment, were there is a chance of sudden rise in fluid pressure which cannot be handled by breather valve or similar apparatus. It provides reliable protection to tank against over pressure and prevents excessive vapor losses. ERV-L Series valves is used only for relieving pressure.
